In a thrilling, wet and windy night, your sharks hosted our rivals Socastee braves. In a bout of even play, Socastee when up 1-0 within about 15 minutes of play capitalizing on a sharks error. The game continued till Riley Parker made a great run down the left flank and rifled a shot only to be saved momentarily by their keeper. It was then followed up upon by Luke Williams to tie the game 1-1 by half time. Starting the second half, in about 15 minutes of play, Dalton Arseneau rifled a shot about 30 yards out with the most top spin I have ever seen. The goalie was left standing still in his tracks as the ball dropped into the net uncontested. Your sharks then lead the game 2-1 until 2 minutes left to which Socastee tied the game 2-2, taking the breathe out of your sharks. On to over time we went. Over time came and gone with no one really making a solid push, and game still equal 2-2. Into penalty kicks our first 5 shooters were 1. Dalton Arseneau 2. Andrew Broome 3. Riley Parker 4. Luke Williams 5. Garrett Greene. After the first 5 Shooters we tied 4-4 with Max Davila making a key save for us in the final shot for Socastee. Into sudden death pks we went to which if you missed we lost. Raphael Carr was our shooter. He took a beating all day and it seems to leak out with this shot. He hit one high, as it sailed it hit the cross bar and bounced back. Socastee sank their shot to win the game 5-4 in pks.
