Game Recap

Your St. James boys soccer team defeated Marlboro County to a score of 13 to 0. In an effort to show sportsmanship, the boys were told they can only score once. That did not stop 13 different players from scoring. The goal scores are as follows; Luke Williams, Garrett Greene, Alan Murawski, Toni Zapot, Addison Byrant, Raphael Carr, Will Weihrauch, Joey Barrientos, Bryce Terhart, Logan Bridgers, Andrew Broome, Alex Holmes, and Dalton Arseneau. Joey Barrientos had 4 assists on the night followed by Addison Byrant and Garrett Greene tallying 2 assists a piece. Luke Williams, Alan Murawski and Carter Wallace all had 1 assist.

Marlboro County showed a lot of class and humility as they played tough and courageous. Marlboro County had an issue in even having a team and had to persuade players to even play. They had only 15 players with 4 subs. With that being said, at the end of the game, they congratulated our team with the utmost respect and in such a positive manner, that it caught our boys by surprise.

Your boys soccer team takes on Wilson at Wilson this Friday. If you don’t mind the travel, come out and support your sharks.
